TENKYU 2 is here, and it picks up where the first game left off. If you played the original, you already know the basic idea. If you did not, the premise is simple to grasp.
You tilt the stage, and the ball rolls. That is the core of it. But simple does not mean easy.
This sequel brings a new set of levels built around the same mechanic. Each stage is a small 3D world, and your job is to guide the ball from start to finish without losing it along the way. The goal is still the same as before.
Reach the hole. Get the ball in. That is how you move forward.
What makes it interesting is how the stages are put together. Slopes, turns, narrow paths, and open sections all ask for different kinds of movement. Some parts need slow, careful tilting.
Others let you pick up speed and ride the momentum. A small mistake can send the ball off course, so patience matters as much as quick reflexes.
You play with the mouse. Moving the mouse tilts the stage, and the ball responds right away. There is no complicated control scheme to learn.
The challenge comes from the level design, not from the input. That keeps the focus on reading the terrain and adjusting your approach as you go.
The new levels add fresh obstacles and situations that were not in the first game. They build on what worked before and push the difficulty a bit further. Longtime players will find something new to figure out.
Newcomers can still jump in and enjoy the ride.
KEZ Games is publishing TENKYU 2. The game is made for players who like physics based puzzles, quick sessions, and the satisfaction of finally sinking that last shot into the hole after a few tries.
If you enjoy games that are easy to start and hard to put down, this one is worth a look. Roll the ball. Find the hole.
See how far you can get.
