Dominoes BIG, published by KEZ Games, is a classic tile game that is easy to pick up but full of strategy. The goal is simple: be the first player to place all of your dominoes on the table.
The game starts with the player who holds the highest double, such as double six. If nobody has that tile, the player with the next strongest double begins. From there, each player in turn must place a domino that matches the number of dots on one end of the domino already on the table.
If the game becomes blocked and no one can make a move, the winner is the player with the fewest total points left in their hand. This adds a layer of careful planning, as you want to shed your high-value tiles early.
The number of dominoes each player gets depends on how many people are playing. In a two-player game, each person receives seven dominoes. With three or four players, each person gets six dominoes.
It is very important that the dominoes are dealt face down so the dots are hidden from the other players.
Any leftover dominoes that are not dealt become the boneyard. Players can draw from this pile if they cannot make a move, keeping the game going until someone wins or the game is blocked.
