Samurai II: Vengeance follows Daisuke as he cuts a bloody path across a land torn apart by war. His journey takes him from a small fishing village to a fortress floating in the sky, and finally to the cursed Isle of the Dead. Nothing will stop him from tracking down his sworn enemy, Orochi.
The question is whether he will finally get the revenge he craves.
This is the long-awaited follow-up to Samurai: Way of the Warrior. The first game earned praise for its bold manga-inspired look and fast, brutal combat. The sequel pushes things further with more action and a much smoother control setup.
Over a year of focused work went into making this a true successor, and it shows. The production quality and the sheer viciousness of the fights put it on the same level as console brawlers.
Static screenshots do not do this game justice. The real feel of the combat only comes through when you see it running at a smooth sixty frames per second. But it is not just about looks.
The team listened to what players wanted and tightened up the core gameplay. There is a new virtual d-pad, a camera that actually keeps up with the action, environmental puzzles, traps, and a lineup of nasty new enemies. All of it adds up to a fresh take on the hack and slash genre for mobile players.
Controls are simple to learn. Use the arrow keys to move, press Z to punch, X to kick, and C to defend. Hit the spacebar to jump.
Everything you need is right there, so you can focus on the fight. KEZ Games is proud to bring this one to you.
